Learn more about the Survey on Primary Schools

The Department of Education is currently conducting a Primary School Survey that will determine the future provision of Primary Schools in the country and may lead to lasting changes in primary schools and in particular the Catholic nature of a number of schools.

Parents in school communities are, in simple terms, being asked if they want school to remain as Catholic school or if they want that to change. They survey is also open to prospective parents whose children are currently attending pre-schools.
